Nigeria’s Diamond, Access to offer free ATM use amid merger deal


Customers of Nigeria’s Access Bank plc and Diamond Bank plc, which announced an deal to merge into a single financial entity, will have access to free ATM use at their 3,100 machines, according to an All Africa report.

The banks expect the merger to be concluded during the first half of 2019, and stated it will create the largest network of ATMs in the country.

Diamond Bank said customers will no longer have to pay the customary N65 charge when using Access Bank ATMs.
