If you are new to the ATM industry or have an employee that needs some education about how our industry works, you’re in luck. TransNational ATM has partnered with the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) and Triton’s ATMGurus to provide one deserving candidate with the education they need to succeed.
The 2019 ATM Industry scholarship, a $3,300 value, includes a full conference pass to the 2019 ATMIA U.S. Conference at Disney’s Colorado Springs Resort in Orlando, February 19-21, airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the airport and conference meals. In addition, the lucky winner will receive ATMGurus’ comprehensive Retail Boot Camp ATM training at Triton’s Long Beach, MS location. Both events allow for unparalleled networking opportunities, as well as learning from key industry leaders.
As the owner of an independent ATM deployer (IAD) for merchants and owners of small- to medium-sized ATM portfolios, I understand there is a steep learning curve to fully understand this industry… and just when you think you have a handle on it, something changes. Regulations and network rules are constantly changing, and new products and revenue generated services are being added at a rapid rate.
We do a lot of education with our ATM owners, and we felt that the industry as a whole would benefit by sponsoring a scholarship that would further the successful candidate’s education the ATM industry and to support his/her employment.
The scholarship application deadline is November 1, 2018 and will be awarded based on the philosophy of TransNational ATM and ATMIA: education of others, advocacy for the betterment of ATM operators, growth of our industry with integrity and the joy of getting to know the stakeholders in our industry. Any individual involved in the ATM industry may apply, as long as they are not current ATMIA members and have never attended an ATMIA conference.
In addition to attendance at the ATMIA conference and Triton’s Retail boot camp, the selected candidate will receive a meal allowance for the duration of the conference, an economy flight to and from Orlando, and travel between the airport and hotel.
During the conference, the scholarship recipient will meet with members from ATMIA and TransNational ATM for pictures, quotes and an interview. Attendance to workshops, keynote sessions, and breakout sessions is required. At the end of the program, the award recipient will submit a two to four-page summary of the overall experience, highlighting the most valuable sessions attended and suggestions for improving the experience for future scholarship recipients.
The winner will be announced in early December. For full details and to take advantage of this unique opportunity, click here.
